Stairways to heaven

It was a trip inside myself, a trip of sounds that convert to the music of your soul, a trip that shows the road to the center of universe, a trip that claim to be truth, a trip that once more affirm your choice, a trip that close the three months road from Norway, through Turkey, Pakistan, China, Canada to Montreal, rue Laclaire. And the guy who served me all of reminds is called Camel, psychologist from Algeria who used to work with difficult children for seventeen years and now after he had married Canadian woman is driving small delivery van every night and really enjoyed it. We talked almost all way about Montreal, travelling, women and smoking.
From Camels thoughts:
- I love to smoke as much as I love to fuck.
- Travel is the best school of life.
- I like to travel to historical places and face with monumental buildings.
- Next summer I want to go to Egypt to see Pyramids.
- You are getting closer when you can feel history.
- I love Eric Clapton, Carlos Santana, Pink Floyd, The Doors and all that is labelled hard-rock.
- I am not a Muslim – I love life, dance, alcohol and women.
That was Camel. All the time radio was playing the music just perfect connected to the moments of our trip. When I was entering Quebec province John Lennon was singing “All the lonely people” so I was almost crying. When half hour later Camel said – Welcome to Montreal, speakers were sounded with Bono voice and U2’s “One love”. And in that moment I was so sense that I couldn’t stop my tears. I knew this is the city of my destination. After U2 we listened to Bob Marley and because Camel had to deliver the car at the parking we switched to his car and he drove me few hundreds meter to Lissias apartment and in his CD player first we listened to The Doors, Carlos Santana and when we drove into rue Laclaire we could here “The girl with the purple hair”. Camel was almost as much excited as I and when he was driving away he shouted – Remember, Algeria!!! I remember. Then I rang a doorbell and entered the magic world of Montreal.
