To Winnipeg

The last joke of my driver to Winnipeg was the question what should I write as the next destination. He laughed I should write Montreal which was 2500km from Winnipeg. I made my sign to Thunder Bay but I should have listened to him because from the truck stop where the security guy tried to through me out I got the lift from two French Canadians and their dog directly to Montreal. I know this post has title Winnipeg-Ottawa because it is true. I spent with Stephano and jonny_boy one and a half day. I got known French humour which sounds like this:
Stephano: How old is your girlfriend?
I: 27.
Stephano: That’s perfect for me.
(laugh)
And I could spend another half day with these funny guys but they had to make a pause in Ottawa and wait for unload the truck. And it was only one o’clock in the night and I felt that I could be in Montreal before Lissia would go to work so they left me in the foggy, rainy weather two kilometres from the main highway on some third class truck stop. I bought a coffee what let me sit in the store for next two hours to the moment that my Algerian angel has appeared.
